Since the release of the movie using Proclaimers songs, in particularly sunshine on Leith, I’ve been thinking I should visit Leith (a district of Edinburgh) for some photos. However not much sunshine around at the moment so my up and down show the lovely mix of old and new architecture and the beauty of the river – but no sunshine

My son lives on the outskirts of Leith! Just there for two years. We went up to visit last October and really loved Edinburgh.
How lovely to see these! My grandparents and generations before them were raised within the sound of The Wa'ers o' Leith :).
It's lovely to see these. We went to see the film last weekend, as much for the scenery as anything else, and the fantasy that we would see a very tall, mop headed extra :)

I love the reflection of the buildings in the water. I've never been to Edinburgh but it's on my list of places to go next time we're over there.
