pair of pairs of selfies

tada - I had a lot of my hair cut off - no nits or chemo (as some of my rather blunt friends asked!!) just a desire for a change.  This is the shortest I've ever had it and I love it although it does take some getting used to in terms of less shampoo and not brushing for such a long stroke and not needing to retrieve my ponytail when I put on a sweater / coat etc and having a cold neck.

keep those pairs coming - I love the themes and stories that appear each week

I love it! You're going to need to remember your hat more often with that cold wind of yours lol

Helena that really suits you! You look great. I know how you feel on the less shampoo and brushing into nothing. I have been there. Your friends certainly came straight to the point. Nits at your age well unlikely unless you are in a school and a little blunt asking about chemo. As Sian said don't forget your scarf and maybe a scarf too!

The short hair style really suits you. Maybe it's time to crochet a selection of hats and scarves before the cold winter hits us!

Looks good! Bravery at its finest hour, going from long hair to short.

You look fabulous and ten years younger!

Congratulations on your haircut...I usually don't let my hair grow as long as yours was...but each time I get a short hair cut it takes lots of adjusting...

A great excuse for some new scarves!!

Your new hair style really suits you! I remember when I cut my long hair it was very strange at first.

Looks good - agreeing with Karen it's a nice shape for you. I went shorter and had all those problems - am used to it now tho' and like it.

Oh golly, you really have had a lot taken off - and it's lovely shorter! You look very perky :). Hoping you keep enjoying despite the coolness round your neck and ears. Great opportunity for some retail therapy in the cashmere line ...

Oh, it looks great. Really suits you. I'm thinking a lovely crochet cowl is in order to keep the drafts out. Joining in, a little late!

It looks great but you will definitely need a good scarf for you neck. I like Fiona's idea of a crocheted cowl.

It suits you Helena. I wonder if your neck feels colder too? At least some of the ideas above will come in useful, if so.
